Wix is a website builder you use yourself. LeedAgent is a CRM and follow-up platform where websites are a secondary service. Both can produce a good-looking site. They differ in what sits behind it, and in what happens after launch.

What Wix does well

Wix is a mature, well-designed builder with a large template library and a drag-and-drop editor that genuinely works. If you enjoy design decisions and have time to spend, you can produce a site you are proud of without writing code. It is a reasonable choice for someone who wants control and does not mind owning the work, and the base subscription is inexpensive compared with hiring anyone.

Where the DIY model tends to break down

The cost of a builder is rarely the subscription, it is the hours. Most local business owners start enthusiastically and then stall, because the site is never quite finished and the next job always matters more. The other pattern is a site that launches and then never changes, so the hours, services and photographs slowly drift out of date. A builder also stops at the website. Lead follow-up, texting, booking and review management are separate products you would add and connect yourself.

How LeedAgent fits

LeedAgent has a built-in MCP server with about 105 tools and a secure OAuth connection, gated by plan. Connect ChatGPT, Claude or any MCP-capable AI from your dashboard, with no code. Then ask in plain English or Spanish to work leads, conversations, calls and texts, your calendar, billing, websites and forms, and Meta ads. Risky changes, such as publishing a page or changing an ad, stay in draft until you approve them.

It works with ChatGPT, Claude, or any AI assistant that supports MCP tools. And it is optional: the built-in app does the same jobs, so you can tap through your phone on a job site and ask your AI about it later. Same system either way.

The honest comparison

If you want to build and maintain the site yourself, Wix gives you that control. If you also want the leads it produces to be captured, followed up and booked without assembling several products, LeedAgent removes much of that work. Neither model is universally better. The real question is whether you will realistically keep the site and the follow-up current six months from now.
